Mentoring

Have you cared for someone at end of life? If so, then you could use your wisdom and experience to become a LifeCircle mentor to help others who are presently caring for someone.

LifeCircle Mentors:

• Have cared for someone through end of life (two years ago or more)
• Provide confidential , non-judgemental listening skills, incorporating resources to empower others to keep well and effectively manage complex and distressing issues.
• Encourage people caring for loved ones to invite family, friends and community networks to help and support
• Remain in contact with the carer through thirteen months of bereavement, or as required.

Volunteer mentors receive extensive professional training, regular support and development opportunities and have life experience of caring for a loved one at life’s end.  Mentors provide support for up to thirteen months post-bereavement.
